1. Put yourself in Moses’ sandals for a moment. What must it have been like to be asked to take on such a huge challenge from God? How would you have responded if God asked you?
2. The plagues are powerful reminders of God’s control over his creation. What other purpose do you think is behind the plagues? How do they add to the drama and power of God’s salvation story?
3. The Bible says that “God hardened Pharaoh’s heart.” How do you understand the idea that God eventually hardened his heart? How does this impact your view of God? What other truths must we consider as we reflect on this Biblical account?
